Game Review :

I haven’t found a good soccer game since Soccer Manager in the 90’s. I have always been intimidated and scared off from this franchise because of the depth. Since I’m just a casual fan of the sport, I know little about the transfer and loan system as well as tactics. When this game became available at 75% off, I said, “What the hell?!” I tried the touch first and actually got the hang of it pretty quickly. While there are a lot of menus to navigate, I found it simple enough. The help system was extremely helpful. After several hours of touch, I gave this game a try and actually find it more enjoyable.

I enjoy the decision making involved and the interviews and such. Plus, I am able to delegate areas that I’m not familiar with so I can get a handle on everything. Everything so far is very enjoyable and I can see myself burying many hours into this. The community is outstanding, with many great discussions and guides. If, like me, you have been intimidated by this games depth and are unsure to purchase, do so. Take it from a casual fan of the sport that knows little of the ins and outs. If I can understand and play, you can too.
