Final Fantasy XV Review:

I play with the ‘high’ preset settings, and just a couple of the special nvidia settings enabled, and the game maintains a good 60 most of the time, occasionally dipping toward 50.

There is a first-person camera new for the PC and XBONE versions.. I wouldn’t recommend using it for fighting, but it’s nice for exploration, and seeing all the little details and objects in the world up-close. Some people get pretty upset about Denuvo DRM, so be aware of that.. I don’t like that much, either, but I can deal with it. It’s a big game with a reasonably long main quest, an an absolutely bonkers amount of stuff to do outside of the main quest.. so if you like to measure your playtime-to-dollars ratio, you should be fine here.

This review would be a million miles long if I tried to review the game itself, and describe it in any sort of detail, so check other reviews for that. I’ll just say that I like it a lot. I played a bunch on PS4 and I’m enjoying revisiting it now. It’s very different from other Final Fantasy games.. but to me, that’s not a bad thing. I’ve played most of the earlier entries in the series- so for me, something a little different is welcome, as long as it’s done well.
